Music - Violin & Viola lessons from a world-class concert soloist!
If you are looking for a first-rate teacher, look no further! I am the best teacher you could find in the UK for many reasons!
Aside from having over 36 years of professional experience in teaching students from beginners to very advanced professionals and students of all ages, I have passed teacher training courses over 8 years to teach students of all ages from beginners to advanced so as to know precisely what techniques to train students in, in the proper order these should be learned, training that very few teachers have ever had.
I have belonged to 4 professional training orchestras in New York, 4 professional orchestras across the U.S., and studied at the Juilliard School of Music with Dorothy DeLay (the teacher of Sarah Chang) and Lillian Fuchs (the head of the viola department), with 2 further years of tutelage with Isaac Stern.
I have given many performances with Yehudi Menuhin, Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zukerman, Yehudi Menuhin, Yo-Yo Ma and others of notable acclaim.
Submit your query to me on my website at http://www.aceinstruction.co.uk, and my website will tell you all about my background, and reasons for why students should study with me. Unlike most teachers, I do NOT endorse the philosophy, "Why teach someone in 6 months what I could take 6 years to cover?"!
Many students have come to me for tuition after having studied with many other teachers, as none of those teachers were capable of teaching them to the level or standard they wished to achieve. It would have been to their advantage to have studied with me from the start as this would have saved them many hours of having to unlearn bad habits and relearn due to the incorrect teaching of techniques they had.
Another reason I am the teacher of choice is because I know the order of which selections of music should be learned before others so as to build one's technique properly to a very high level. I also ask that all my students pay their tuition to the Registered Charity, Concert Artistes International which you will find at http://www.cai-trust.co.uk". For those in the 40% tax bracket, this is an absolute blessing!
Gift Aid (income tax you paid on your tuition) will be collected by CAI and will pay you to take part in charity fundraising concert events year after year, something that no other teacher can provide funding for as I do! If you do not wish to work as a musician, you may still be hired for something else, whether to collect tickets at the door, to sell raffle tickets or to help in the buffet supper after each concert event.
My rates are also the most competitive in the UK! I also give discounted rates for tuition that is paid in advance for the next month! You may write to me through my website of http://www.aceinstruction.co.uk.
